How to use the Notes feature.

The Notes feature is a powerful tool for collaborating with others and providing contextual feedback on website design and development projects. With this feature, you can leave notes and comments on specific elements in the editor or in the front end, making communicating with others easier and improving the feedback between the business and the client.

In this article, we'll show you how to use the Notes feature, including its benefits and how to access it.

Benefits of Using the Notes Feature

Before we dive into the how-to's, let's talk about the benefits of using the Notes feature:

With the Notes feature, you can easily communicate any website changes that you want with us without the hassle of emailing back and forth or trying to explain things over the phone.

By leaving Notes directly on the website, you can pinpoint exactly what you want to modify or provide feedback on. You can tag specific team members using the @ symbol, ensuring that the right person receives your message. The team member will receive an email notification with a link directly to the Note, allowing them to view your comments and respond accordingly.

Not only does this streamline the communication process, but it also ensures that all feedback is in one central location, making it easier for both you and the agency to keep track of revisions and progress.

In addition, you can use the Notes feature to leave yourself reminders or instructions on how to manage or make changes to your website on your own. This is a great way to keep track of changes that you want to make in the future or to guide yourself through any updates or modifications you need to do.

To access the Notes feature, simply look for the Notes icon in the top WordPress bar when viewing the website’s frontend as a logged-in user.

If you click on the ellipsis icon in the Notes panel, you'll see several additional options:
